Join our R&D team to advance PlatformSecurity's offensive and engineering services into the AI era. You will turn frontier AI security research into client-facing capabilities across red teaming, zero-day research, and security engineering engagements. This role focuses on adversarial testing of LLM applications, model and agent hardening, secure-by-design AI architecture, and practical controls that improve real-world resilience.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute AI-focused adversary simulations, including prompt injection, data exfiltration, tool abuse, and agent workflow compromise scenarios.
- Build internal R&D tooling that improves service delivery across red teaming, zero-day research, and security engineering practices.
- Translate emerging AI attack research into repeatable testing methodologies and high-impact client deliverables.
- Partner with platform and security engineers to implement guardrails, policy controls, and secure-by-default patterns for AI-enabled systems.
- Contribute technical thought leadership through writeups, proof-of-concepts, and conference-level research where appropriate.
Requirements
- 7+ years in offensive security, application security, security engineering, or related R&D roles.
- Hands-on experience securing or attacking LLM applications, agent frameworks, RAG pipelines, or AI infrastructure.
- Strong software engineering ability in Python and/or TypeScript for rapid prototyping and production-grade tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to connect deep technical findings to business risk, remediation strategy, and executive-level communication.
- Experience leading complex technical engagements with senior client stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Published AI security research, conference talks, or notable open-source contributions.
- Experience with adversarial ML, model evaluation pipelines, and AI safety/guardrail testing frameworks.
- Background in cloud-native platform security, Kubernetes, and CI/CD security automation.
- Track record of building service offerings from research prototypes to client-ready playbooks.
